Odoro supports companies
from beginning to end

Odoro advises companies in controlling their odour emissions.

Depending on the situation, we offer different services. For example, Odoro conducts on-site odour audits to identify odour sources. Of known sources, the odour concentration can be determined via olfactometry, mapping the importance of each source.

To evaluate the odour impact on the surrounding area, field panel measurements can be performed. If odour treatment systems are required, Odoro searches for the most appropriate air treatment technique based on chemical measurements.

Based on measurements or an odour audit, an odour management plan can be developed. Finally, Odoro also supports companies with the follow-up of air treatment systems.

We will select the most appropriate methods to achieve your goal. For more specific questions, information or a quote, contact us.

Field panel measurements

Field panel measurements

Using field panel measurements, the odour impact on the surroundings can be mapped. This odour impact can be evaluated using the applicable policy frameworks.

A field panel measurement campaign traditionally consists of 10 field panel measurements. During a measurement, the actual odour perceptibility in the environment is determined by certified panel members.

Vlarel

Odoro is an accredited laboratory for performing field panel measurements.

Odour audit

Odour audit

An odour audit involves identifying all installations and potential odour sources on the plant. Where applicable, the ventilation system is also examined.

Based on the insights gained, targeted recommendations are provided for further source management.

Measurements (olfactometry and chemical)

Measurements (olfactometry and chemical)

To know the odour concentration and components in the air stream, samples are taken from the air stream. These samples are analysed in specialised laboratories with dedicated expertise.

Based on the results of the odour concentration measurements (olfactometry), the relative importance of the various sources can be determined.

Chemical measurements make it possible to identify the most important odour components. Based on these measurements, the best air treatment technique can be selected.

Odour management plan

Odour management plan

Odoro supports companies in drafting an odour management plan.

Using the performed studies, odour management measures and monitoring of the installation can be proposed.

Monitoring air treatment installations

Monitoring air treatment installations

Odoro monitors odour treatment plants. The condition of the installation (e.g. biofilter material) can be examined, as well as flow rates and efficiency of the installation.
